Lower Eagle Falls

Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden California follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

About Lower Eagle Falls

Lower Eagle Falls is the last bit of a set of massively beautiful waterfalls that cascade down the mountain and into Emerald Bay.  Because this lower waterfall is so easily accessible, be ready for terrible street parking and a lot of people enjoying it with you.  Still, to be this close to such a powerful waterfall and with such a stunning view, it is worth waiting for a parking spot to enjoy.

While you’re in the area, make sure to visit Cascade Falls nearby!

I wouldn’t even classify this as a hike as you park and walk right down, but do wear proper hiking shoes and definitely don’t get too close to the falls!  There is nothing separating you from it and you could easily get sucked in and most likely die.  No joke!
