Hello everyone! This is a friendly reminder that any of these fun places we may visit, we are a guest at. Please treat both businesses and trails with the utmost respect. We here at Hidden California follow the 'Leave no Trace' mantra, meaning whatever you bring with you comes back with you. If you see trash on a trail, please do your part to help remove it. Remember, we are not picking up trash from another person but instead cleaning up for Mother Nature. Happy adventures!

About Huntington Central Park East
Huntington Central Park East is one of the largest urban parks in Orange County, with many fun and engaging activities which range from their secret garden to multiple lakes.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, birdwatch, or simply unwind in a serene environment, this park will definitely provide plenty to do.
Amenities
Amenities include four playgrounds, a nature center, fishing, frisbee/disc golf, horseshoes, viewpoint, lakes, equestrian trails, dog park, urban forest, exercise course, restrooms and three restaurants. The Senior Center and Central Library are also located within the park.
Personal Experience
I was really surprised by how huge this park was and how beautiful! I’ve been twice now and both times it’s been filled with people enjoying their day. We originally came here for the secret garden but quickly discovered there is so much more to do. The urban forest is a beautiful, shaded path that leads to the secret garden.
There are also two lakes with many migratory birds to watch. They also have an epic playground if you have a little one! There are multiple restaurants on site and it is VERY kid and dog friendly!
